Each of us has our own origin story. How did you come to be the way you are? Being a 90s kid from a Chennai middle class family, by default I’m an engineer, and by passion a lot of other things.
There is usually a single entity that describes the essence of your being. Not your profession. Close your eyes and think, what’s yours? (Know that I will make it a point to pummel you with the nearest blunt and heavy object if you say “dreamer” — that’s just trite. Come on, all of us are dreamers).
Adventurer, artist, coder, gamer — you could be any of these. As for me, I’m a storyteller.
I started out as a half-hearted coder, then became a journalist, a data journalist, and now a content marketer.
I’ve been blogging since the mid-2000s all the way up to about 2012. After that, journalism took over and my stories were mostly journalistic ones.

Being a storyteller, my desire to disintegrate into a pool of nothing intensifies when I read some of my cringe stories from the 2000s. I think I tried too hard to be funny. I don’t know who used to read them, but they helped me mature as a writer and know what to avoid.
Since I quit journalism in 2019, I haven’t been writing as often as I would’ve liked, and hence here it is, just another blog. Just another dotcom, just another grain of sand in the endless Internet universe.
